HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008

I will run my life with smile and happiness. In the beginning of new year celebration, there is nothing special, except I got 1 day for holiday. I spend my time by watching some movies, that makes me relax and refresh my mind. Then in the 2^nd of January, I got Chinese language examination, but fortunately I can handle it. Hahahaahu

3 – 5 january, I join mandarin camp which is held by the association of Chinese language teacher of Jogjakarta. We stay in villa Eden, kaliurang for 3 days. We have many agendas, such as rao kou ling (Chinese “pantun”), shufa (Chinese calligraphy),

Zuo fan jiao zhi (making pangsit), making Chinese handicraft , and learning china’s culture.

Most of participants are Chinese people; there are only 5 students who are not Chinese, including me. But, we still excited to join in and learn all about Chinese culture. Jia You. I got many new friends who are so kind to me. We learn together happily. Yet, when we try to make Chinese handicraft, we got some troubles. I think that it is so difficult to make “simpul cina”, it is so complicated and confusing. But, when we can pass the trouble and feel more patient, we will have nice handicraft.

When we are trying to make shu fa, we got some trouble too. We have to be patient to draw Chinese characters slowly. Besides, we have to relax and concentrate to our shu fa. But, our drawing is still not good. Then I try to draw it more and more. Several minutes later, the committee tell us to have shu fa competition. We all draw shufa. Fortunately I got second grade of shufa competition. I am so glad about it, even I just learn it for some minutes. I appreciate my ward work and luckiness. Hehehe. I got the certificate and voucher. That the gift for new year. hahahaha

We go home in the Saturday afternoon. I rethink and introspect myself, what did I got for 3 days in mandarin camp. I got experience, knowledge about chinse culture, new friends and last, I got new certificate. That was my first experience to write shu fa. One more thing, I got new miaobi (kuas for writing shufa), that is from shu yu li lao shi.

I argue that my life is full of luckiness. Why do I say it for several times? Because I want to record that at this time, I should thanks to my lord, Allah who gave me many things. Sometime, I don’t realize it, I just think that I am not a lucky girl, coz I don’t have this, this, and this. I just think about my weakness and I use my negative thinking. Even, I know that every human has negative and positive potential. I just need to improve my power and identify my weakness and even change it also to become my power.

Some people are so lucky but others are not, but that is life. We should understand it. So do I. I should remember it and always say Alhamdulillah. I am more lucky then my other friends. I do hope that this year, I got more happiness and hope for running all of my days.
